The Strange Case of the Dwindling Manager

First, it was the company car. Then the credit card, and even the expense account got revoked. However, what stung the most was the disappearance of his name and photo from the internet directory. Ultimately, he didn't wait for someone to escort him out. Without a word, he pressed the zero button and exited the bank's doors for the final time. In the end, with a substantial compensation package, he regained his freedom. He was, once again, just a regular human being. No one ever knew more about him.
